Hitchhikers guide to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

On 7 August 2005, local comedy writer Marco Stefano Gonzalez Hernandez, aka Steve Gonzalez (pictured right as Arthur Dent from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie) is planning to hitch hike to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to raise money for the Peterborough NHS Special Care Baby Unit.

His progress will be photographed, and captured on camcorder to prove whether he completed the journey,

Plus you will be able to read all about his exploits on a special 'Hitchhikers guide to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival' website which you will be able to access through www.peterborough.net  shortly.

He is also planning a number of fund raising events across the city in conjunction with the Peterborough sci-fi club, and the official Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy fan club where memorabilia, and merchandise will be auctioned off.
