For the first time in Truckfest history there’s going to be a
Top 100 used vehicles section and main arena showcase presented by
Commercial Motor’s Brian Weatherley.
There’s even a chance to get lucky
and win one of these top vehicles via our Truck Giveaway
competition. This section will feature
numerous independent deals all showing their very best trucks for
sale. This is a unique opportunity to do serious business and snap
up some new editions to the fleet.
By popular demand we also have the
return of the Monster Trucks! This year we are delighted to
introduce a new 1,800 BHP face to Truckfest namely - Slingshot.
Sling Shot and the awesome crowd puller Swamp Thing will be jumping
cars, spraying dirt and having lots of high-octane action packed
fun.
2008 sees the incorporation of the
Classic Commercial Motor Show into Truckfest. This show within a
show will provide visitors with a fabulous opportunity to reminisce
over the halcyon days and the trucks they used to own or drive.
Classic & Vintage Commercials will be the proud sponsors of the
prestigious event.
This years Operators Lounge will be
sponsored by Norwich Union but they won’t only be serving up the
teas. They will also be giving good advice on how to keep safe with
risk management seminars taking place over the weekend.
The main arena wouldn’t be complete
without more stunt performances and UK FMX will be there to show you
what a can-can and Indian air are.
But it doesn’t stop there we also
have the Truckfest celebrities to parade on both show days and we
have some absolute crackers lined up this year, all of which will be
announced soon. As always the campers will be treated to night
time entertainment only this year we’ve gone big. We have a
big headline act to announce very shortly, stay posted….
The real stars of Truckfest are of
course the trucks and this year is proving to be one of the most
successful and stunning displays of both the British and European
workforce. Truckfest is the only place you will see all of these
spectacular vehicles parked side by side, an opportunity not to be
missed.
