is a friendly and welcoming society that provides the opportunity
for people to get help and advice from more experienced
photographers. Members are willing to assist those who wish to
learn, by giving instruction in a particular style, technique, or
through practical demonstrations of printing and processing.”
Admission is free to the
exhibition, which is being hosted at The Space4 Gallery, from
Saturday 9 February until Saturday 8 March. Opening times will be
Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm, Sundays, 12 noon to 4 pm.
Councillor Matthew Lee, Cabinet
member for Community Services at Peterborough City Council, said:
“It is a pleasure to be able to host this inspirational exhibition
at the Space4 Gallery once again.
“It provides an excellent
opportunity for local talent to exhibit their work in the city, as
well as giving us a unique perspective on Peterborough, its people
and the surrounding area through the work of the society’s members.
The group’s longevity is testament to their talent over the years
and I hope as many people as possible will take the opportunity to
visit the gallery over the coming weeks.”
