Well done to Bob Pearce of Jodan karate for an excellent performance at the recent (February) Impact karate tournament.

Bob who has been involved in martial arts for around 4 years has not been compatibly sparing for some time.

However, he came back in winning style to take first place at the tournament.

Bob had to fight off some very stiff competition from 5 other competitors who had an obvious height advantage over the little champ, and everyone on the day commented on how for the smallest competitor in his category , he defiantly has the biggest presence on the mats.

Bob showed a commanding through lead in each bout despite a knee injury in the second round, and went into the last round gaining a convincing victory in the last few seconds of the fight to take the win.

Bobs parents (Steve & Cag) Sensei Reeves and all the Jodan staff look forward to many more wins in the future for Bob and some other up and coming students in the school.
