The Broken Window is the eighth novel featuring Lincoln Rhyme
and sees the detective up against the most terrifying,
thought-provoking and ultimate 21st century criminal – an identity
thief who tracks down his victims and then spins a web of false
evidence to pin the crime on an innocent stooge. The latest book is
what Deaver fans worldwide have been waiting for; not only does it
contain all his trademark twists and turns but the book also reveals
for the first time the family background of the brusque central
character.
Mr Deaver will be appearing at the
John Clare Theatre, Central Library, Peterborough, on Thursday 24
July at 1 pm.
Tickets cost £3 (£2 concessions)
and are available from Central Library or from Waterstone’s in
Bridge Street. For further information please contact reader
services on 01733 864277.
