Peterborough Museum Ghost Hunt

Lifestyle | Article

Have you ever wanted to go ghost hunting?

Do you have what it takes to spend a night in the most haunted building in Peterborough?

With Halloween approaching and ghosts on our minds, Children Today is inviting you to take part in what promises to be a night filled with paranormal activity at Peterborough Museum on Friday 16th October 2009.

Children Today

Our ghost busting team is starting to take shape but we have some places left so you can join them! Lisa, Penny and Angela are all looking forward to hunting ghosts, so much so that Angela is coming all the way from Bournemouth to join the team and David is doing this for his birthday gift! The Peterborough Museum is such a thrilling venue, it has featured on Most Haunted and even made their team flee the cellar when a door inexplicably slammed shut on them. You can join the ghost hunting team for only £10 plus sponsorship so this really is a fantastic opportunity to face your fears and find out what really happens behind the Museum facade at night.

The most reported phenomena here include a ghostly Roman soldier, said to be connected forever to his sword, a white lady on the upper floors, a First World War soldier and a ghostly kitchen maid. A team of paranormal experts will guide you through many scientific experiments and methods to detect the presence of spirits. These include EMF meters, Laser Thermometers, spirit communication and many, many more!

All participants must be aged 18 or over. Whether you are brave enough to come as an individual or bring a group of friends, all you need to do to take part in this supernatural night is pay a £10 registration fee and raise £100 sponsorship money.

Local fundraiser Emma Fawcett said: 'Children Today provide vitally important life changing equipment for disabled children and young people. The sponsorship money you raise from taking part in this exciting event will help improve the lives of disabled children living in your area.'

Places are limited so for further details and to register for this event please call Emma Fawcett on 07912 308576 or the fundraising office on 01244 335 622.
