Over 200 packed into the City Club,
Peterborough last month for the East Anglian Soul
Club (EASC) first event in over 25
years, and boy did everyone enjoy the
night.
The venue
got a big thumbs up from all the crowd, a
packed oldies room that just oozed atmosphere, a cool area for the
Newies specialists and some great lounges which were ideal places
for everyone to catch there breath and chat to mates about old times.
There was even a mini bus down from the Bentwick miners club
who were very welcome.
If you missed
out, or you just can't get enough, the next event takes place
on Friday 24th November.
So clear
your social diaries and make sure you get there, there’s a great DJ
line up in both rooms, Coops has promised
an electrifying session in the Oldies room and top resident Steve J
can only build on his rave reviews in the Newies room.
For more
info check out the EASC website, also there are
some great photos on there and some live audio tapes from the first
show. Coops has now got the live audio
recordings on the website and there will soon be live video footage
of the Velvelettes live, who
were brilliant.
The EASC forum has tripled in size
in 1 week such is the interest so get on there and meet some old
mates
