The Festival is being held over three days this year – 13th, 14th
and 15th November - at the East of England Showground in
Peterborough. Discounted tickets are being offered for the first day
of the Show, Friday 13th. The Festival will be all in one, heated,
building, in the fabulous exec Peterborough exhibition centre.
Now in its fifth year, the
Christmas Festival offers a unique shopping experience, with over
250 craft and gift stands. Visitors to the Festival will have the
perfect opportunity to discover a whole host of quality gift ideas
for friends and family.
The Christmas Festival Food Hall
will feature some of the best local and regional speciality
products, and you will also be able to enjoy a delicious, festive
meal in the festival restaurant, knowing that all the food has been
sourced under the Showground’s Food Direct from the Farm scheme.
Younger visitors will especially
enjoy meeting Father Christmas, and the festive fun continues with
the return of the indoor ice rink.
You will also be able to purchase a
delicious mug of hearty soup, from a recipe devised by local school
children. The Junior Schools Winter Warmer Soup Challenge has
involved school children from across the region, who have devised
their favourite soup recipe. The entries will be judged by
professional chefs from the Academy of Culinary Arts and the winning
soups will be sold at the Festival, with all the profits from the
sale going to the winning schools.
For ticket bookings please call
