There is also a one mile ‘tots toddle’ so that all the family can join
in. The walk around Ferry Meadows Country Park in Peterborough
starts from near the Visitor Centre at 9.30 am.
“Cat Walks have proved really
popular in other areas of the country because they are fun and
people enjoy a nice leisurely stroll in the good weather. They are
also an excellent means of raising awareness of our work,” said Pam
McNicol, branch spokesperson. “We’re extending a warm invitation to
people of all ages and fitness levels to turn up and enjoy
themselves. Even dogs are welcomed.”
There is a small entry fee which is
reduced for those that pre-register and goodie bags will be given to
all finishers.

The Peterborough Branch of Cats
Protection finds loving homes for around 400 cats and kittens each
year. The Branch is run entirely by volunteers and depends on the
generosity of the public to continue running its vital services for
cats in the local area.
