The Peterborough Fringe Festival is a two week long celebration of live music, comedy, and performance events that are taking place over the same period as the main Peterborough Festival this summer.

It is entirely separate from the official programme of events organised by the City Council, but has the same overriding aim which is to promote Peterborough in a positive light, highlighting the great work independent venues and organisations do throughout the year to keep Peterborough people entertained.

The idea behind fringe festivals around the world is that of an entirely open event, where anyone can put on their show, or hold an event as part of a wider programme.

The Peterborough Fringe Festival is no different and an entirely eclectic mix is guaranteed with performances ranging from established national acts who will be performing in Peterborough, in addition to local performers which will emphasise the creative talent that exists within the city.
