Gainesville, FL ‐ You'd think that almost two full years
of near‐nonstop
touring would deserve a long break, but such is not the
case for
ska/punk/pop pioneers LESS THAN JAKE who are continuing
their trek
across the Atlantic and into Europe and UK with punk‐rap
legends
Zebrahead. “We were used to being in the UK and Europe
three times a
year like clockwork but we took some time away for some
new
projects,” says LTJ drummer Vinnie Fiorello. “Now we are
coming back
and can't wait to be back doing a full tour.”

This tour with Zebrahead is a special one since the bands
have been friends for over a decade. “We've known
the Zebrahead guys since 1997 and being able to share a
tour with them again makes the journey full circle,”
he continues.

The affinity between bands is reciprocal, as Zebrahead’s
bassist Ben Osmundson adds, “Zebrahead is beyond
stoked to be bringing the Peace, Love and Beer back to
the the UK/Europe with our favorite band the almighty
Less Than Jake!”

Tickets for the UK dates will be made available beginning
at 9:00am on 9 June in London at
http://www.artistticket.com/link/?s=less+than+jake. Fans
who choose to purchase their tickets in this manner
will receive a special bonus: six live tracks from Less
Than Jake’s upcoming new DVD anthology release,
including “A Still Life Franchise” (from In with the Out
Crowd), “All My Best Friends Are Metal Heads” (Hello,
Rockview), “Dopeman” (Losing Streak), “Liquor Store”
(Pezcore), “Look What Happened” (Borders and
Bounderies) and “Plastic Cup Politics” (Anthem).

Less Than Jake
Hotly celebrated as a return to form, Less Than Jake's
seventh album GNV FLA
has received plaudits from the media and fans alike,
generating praise from
newspapers such as Buffalo News who remarked, "Less Than
Jake have only
gotten better and better at creating a sound all their
own" and Denver Post
who gushed, "Less Than Jake are just, well, awesome." AMP
Magazine said,
"[GNV FLA] is damn sure a great album," while
AbsolutePunk proclaims, "Less
Than Jake aren't going anywhere except in steady rotation
in your iPod, and
GNV FLA proves that unequivocally."
