Just listened to Paxman on Newsnight discussing with financiers about who they'd best prefer sorting out problems... Vince Cable, our wise old sage from the Lib Dems. There is no other. For God's sake, don't miss out on this one. It feels right. You know it's right. Don't f*ck it up this time.

It may even be unbeknown to you, but I like the Freudian aspect of the scary bridge. Just walk over it this time, into the new.

Been on the meths again Blip?

The idea that libdem department of the labourtorylibdems is going to be any different to that of comrade gordo or justcallme dave-you know for the kids- is slightly naive.

Are they going to reign in th bankers? Are they going to nationalise the railways? Are they going to pull our troops from Iraq/Afghanistan?

Are they bollox!

There recent obsession in out-cutting the other parties in public services to pay for the city's greed is disgraceful in the extreme!

I'm kind of sympathetic to your cause, blip. I saw a kind of Q&A thing on TV with Nick Clegg, and he does seem to have a better understanding of what it's like to live real life, as opposed to Brown or Cameron. Unfortunately, it is he, not Cable, who has to shape up in the public's eyes (and I'm not sure I would recognise such a non- charismatic person if I met him.)

I don't really follow politics very much, so feel free to educate me, It seems to me that the Liberals have rejected the Conservatives as a potential party-to-do-business-with. So if everyone is disenchanted with Labour and some of them vote Tory and some of them vote Lib-Dem; how will that help?

Political evolotion Elsie. Now whether the masses are more attuned to actual thinking on such things rather than impulsive charismatic impressions, well there I think the discrepancy lies.
