I thought it was an Incredible 3D experience and not a bad film on it's own merits. I think it's really taking Cinema to the next level in alot of ways. To my mind this is genuinely the first time that 3D has really been used effectively to add extra dimension to the enjoyment of the film. Before this any 3D i'd seen was frivolous and ultimately added nothing to the experience, usually because the film was terrible anyway - see Final Destination and My Bloody Valentine if you don't know what I'm talking about This is a film experience like no other and anyone who hasn't seen it yet needs to sort it out...because once you've seen it once you will probably want to see it again.

Boring plot, boring characters, nothing to make me feel anything other than 'not bad'. 3D was OK but didn't have me jumping out my seat the way that others have. I remember an underwater documentary where it really did seem as though I was going to be swallowed by a fish.
Actually the scenes at the start when the people were waking from the long sleep on the trip to Pandora were most impressive, probably because it looked realistic. The silly blue creatures looked anything but realistic.
