I just saw the music video for the X Factor finalist's song Hero.

Now is it just me or is it a (not very) subtle piece of sugar coated military propoganda?

A more pertinent question would be what on earth made you think that that
car crash third rate Karoake clone tv sh*te had that much depth to it?

i wasn't saying it was deep. just showing young celebrities singing about 'heroes' to slow motion images of soldiers in Iraq. Supposedly to raise money for soldiers (when surely the military should be capable of caring for soldiers?) stinks of glorification

Here is the video re-edited with slightly different images, to show a more accurate depiction of the war in Iraq

i guess no one finds this interesting then? After being told by x factor's fans here that this was a 'discussion board' it's kind of typical that no one wants to talk about anything other than who they think should win,

I can't stand it - other half loves it. Laughed my socks off on Saturday when the little blonde one appeared sitting on a motorbike - surely the send up of the Peter Kaye Geraldine sketch, where 'she' sings on a bike?? Giggling away to myself in the kitchen where I had escaped to put the kettle on.......
