Peterborough’s most advanced digital
media ‘e-agency’, T2 Studios Limited, has introduced a new product
that enables companies to update pages of their websites cost
effectively - without the need for major upgrade, redevelopment or
T2 has developed a scaled-down version
of its powerful website content management system, T2 Datalink, which
can be integrated into pages of existing HTML websites. Companies are
then able to keep information up to date easily in areas such as news
sections, product details and special offers.
Once the system has been installed
updating a website is very straightforward, with minimal training
needed. Page updates are made through an on-line management console
and, because the system is web-browser based, these can be carried out
at any time and from any computer with access to the internet. Text
can be added, edited and formatted and images and files can be
inserted into pages.
Because the system is accessed over
the internet there is no software to maintain or install on computers.
“Many companies have websites which
they do not keep up to date because they have not got the in-house
skills to do so or because they find it very expensive,” said James
Lewis, strategy director at T2. “Our new product helps companies
overcome this. It is a simple to use system which can be integrated
into any existing website. It requires no specialist skills to use and
once installed companies can update their websites when they like and
as often as they like.”
T2 Studios Limited was established in
1998 to provide a single, economical, source of digital and
traditional media services to companies across the UK. Its customers
include WEDA GMBH, Caffé Uno and EMAP.
