Peterborough-based public relations
consultancy Smye Holland Associates has
won a major new contract from an organisation which is a vital part of
UK internet industry.
The London Internet Exchange (LINX) has
appointed Smye Holland Associates to
handle its contacts with the press, produce its newsletters and help
number of marketing and communications projects.
LINX connects the networks of all the
major internet service providers
(ISPs) and carries more than 90 per cent of the UK’s internet
is a not-for-profit organisation which is owned by more than 115 ISPs
the UK, continental Europe, the USA and Asia.
Vanessa Evans, marketing and public
relations manager at LINX, said: “We
were looking for a PR firm which could understand not only the
which we deal with on a daily basis but also the particular needs of a
member-owned, not-for-profit organisation. We also needed a firm which
could be creative and pro-active. Smye Holland Associates has
it can meet all those requirements.”
