English language training contract

RSBE - The Rectory School of Business English have been contracted by Ingram Micro, the world's largest wholesale provider of technology products and services, to provide English language training.

Ingram Micro's headquarters are in California and they have five major regional operations: Canada, the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. With offices and subsidiaries in 30 countries, they deliver products to more than 100 nations.

"RSBE was approached by the Ingram Micro's UK operation to help with English language training for European managers," explained Joanne Brown, the Director of Study, "and I am designing a special English course, to take place in February, for those working in accounts and credit control."

Training will not be confined to the classroom; the delegates will visit the accounts department of a local company to practice their new vocabulary and general language skills. A task-based visit to one of the Cambridge colleges is also planned.

"Learning English in England is very important for the serious language learner, as you have to operate daily almost completely in English, even with fellow students. It's great for increasing general language skills, confidence and fluency," Joanne added.

The special February course is open to other delegates; there are just two places left.
