Free seminar helps bosses to combat tide of employee legislation

Local business bosses can obtain free help in coping with a rising tide of employment legislation at a half-day seminar being held at Peterborough Football Club on Wednesday 25 July from 9.30 am until 12.30.

Delegates at the seminar - being organised by Peterborough-based Premier Choice Healthcare in association with Peninsula, the UK’s largest employment law consultancy - will be entitled to a free consultation on a specific question.

Margaret Clark, from Premier Choice Healthcare, said: “A mass of new legislation affecting employees’ rights and conditions has been introduced in recent years and even more legislation is being proposed.

“As a result, business leaders can become overwhelmed by the complexities and any ignorance of the law could prove very expensive or even threaten the existence of their company. This seminar will give them an invaluable insight into employment law so that they can avoid the pitfalls and protect themselves from costly mistakes.”

The topics to be discussed will include: industrial tribunals; employee rights; disability, racial and sexual discrimination; rights of temporary and part-time workers; and what to include in contracts of employment.
