Rezidor contracts Park Inn hotel in Peterborough

The Brussels based Rezidor Hotel Group has contracted four new Park Inn hotels in the UK.

The Park Inns will be located at Edinburgh Airport, Peterborough City Centre, Grimsby, and Rotherham.

Rezidor’s portfolio in the UK and Ireland now features more than 50 hotels in operation or under development.

The group operates five distinct hotel brands; Radisson SAS, Country Inn, Missoni, Park Inn and Regent, featuring over 270 hotels either in operation or under development in 47 countries.

The openings of the four new properties are scheduled for 2008 and 2009 by which time Rezidor will have added 20,000 rooms to its portfolio.

The Park Inn Peterborough City Centre will be located next to the Queensgate Shopping Centre. Currently an office complex, work will begin to convert the building into a 115 bedroom hotel within the next three months.
