Inside Ex receives royal seal of approval!

King Henry VIII joined business people from across Greater Peterborough this week (June 9th) for Inside Ex 2004, a new business-to-business event held in the Britten Arena at Wood Green Animal Shelters near Huntingdon.

And visitors, who came along to take advantage of free business seminars and exchange ideas with a range of business exhibitors, have given the event the thumbs up.

King Henry VIII (aka Stan Taylor from Inside Business!) gives Inside Ex 2004 the royal seal of approval. Pictured with Henry are Inside Ex visitors and exhibitors, and trusty steed Max from Wood Green Animal Shelters with handler Lucy Cannon.

Mike Stokes, director of Exportential Ltd based in Spalding, said: It was fantastic to be able to hear from such high quality speakers free of charge and Ive also made some new contacts with businesses Id not come across before. All in all, I found the event really useful. I really do hope it gets established and becomes a regular fixture.

Peterborough-based Stitches 2 Impress exhibited at the event. Managing Director Simon Grima said: I was busy on the stand from the time I arrived until the time I left. Inside Ex certainly helped to raise awareness of Stitches 2 Impress and Im hopeful that it will generate business going forward.

Planning is already underway for Inside Ex 2005. Stan Taylor, operational sales manager for event organisers Inside Business, said: Were delighted with the feedback we have received for this first Inside Ex event. Were looking forward to building on this success to make Inside Ex 2005 the event not to be missed in the Greater Peterborough business calendar. From little acorns, big things grow!

As well as Greater Peterborough businesses the event also attracted visitors from neighbouring regions including Northamptonshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Lincolnshire.
