Local businesses people are being
asked to let a city-based solicitors know what they would like to see on a legal
web site, with their responses being collected by the Internet itself. The
initiative has been launched by Hegarty & Co in a drive to find out what
people really want from web sites dealing with the law.
Marketing Manager Mark Dodds said: "When designing web sites it is
all too easy to get involved in making them look really great to please 'the
management', or an internal audience but if your potential clients are actually
more interested in the content than the look you will be wasting your time and
"We think we have a pretty good
idea of what makes a good site, but we want to ensure that this lives in with
what the business community expect. The web based survey takes a couple of
minutes to complete, but will provide us with valuable information to get the
next generation of our site even more tuned to what people are looking

Mark went on to say that the more
people who take part the better their next site will be.
"The important people are those
who will actually use the site to help them in their business or personal lives.
We want to make sure we are getting it right for them and the survey results
will be of massive help in achieving this."
