Coca-Cola have 60,000 Children in Need target

Business | Press | News

This Friday, 15th November, employees at Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd's (CCE) telebusiness centre in Peterborough, will be offering their time, expertise, and crazy antics to support the Children in Need appeal.

BBC Children in Need Appeal

Volunteers will be giving their own time and working into the night, answering calls and taking pledges as an official call centre for Children in Need.

Joining CCE Staff on the night will be Police Officers from Bridge Street, footballers from Peterborough FC and the entire Peterborough Ladies Hockey Team.

However, money will not just be flowing in from the phone lines. CCE staff are also raising funds by dressing up as their favourite children's film characters, holding a karaoke challenge competition and running various games and raffles, all contributing to the spirit of the occasion.

Stephen Bentley, General Manager, says "This is the 8th year that CCE has opened its lines to support Children in Need, and we are delighted to be able to once again lend our logistical support. As always our staff are happy to give their time to such a worthy cause."

"Our highly trained staff handle over one million calls each year, so who better to answer the phones for all the pledges sure to come in from the Peterborough are? We pride ourselves on our team spirit and making sure that everyone involved will have a great day!"
