Businesses from Peterborough will
learn how they can sell their products and services to the US Air
Force at a unique Chamber breakfast on Tuesday 13 March.
A panel of representatives from the
US Air Force (USAF) will give a short presentation on the
opportunities available, including a step-by-step guide to how
Chamber members can sell their goods and services to the USAF.
John Bridge OBE, Chief Executive of
Peterborough Chamber of Commerce, said: “This is an excellent
opportunity for businesses from across Cambridgeshire to tap into
what is an exciting and varied potential new market. We are
delighted to be working in partnership with the US Air Force to
facilitate this opportunity for local businesses.
"Assisting Cambridgeshire businesses
in the procurement of local contracts is an ongoing priority for the
Chamber, as we seek to work with the county's local councils and
organisations such as the US Air Force to bring such opportunities
to the forefront.
"The US Air Force will give a
presentation on the different forms of registration that are
required before local companies can work with the American
Government, and specifically the various steps which must be
completed in order to become a vendor."
A question and answer session will
also offer businesses the opportunity to ask the panel any questions
they may have, followed by an informal networking session.
