Business | Press | News

Julie Spence OBE, Chief Constable of Cambridgeshire Police, will be addressing local businesses at this year’s annual Chamber of Commerce Christmas Lunch.

The Christmas Lunch is one of the most popular annual events in the Chamber events calendar, often attracting over 100 delegates from some of the region’s largest and most successful businesses.

John Bridge OBE, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “The Chamber is always seeking to provide high-profile, influential speakers to speak at our events and I am very sure that this year’s Christmas Lunch will prove to be one of our most popular functions this year.

“Julie is an extremely prominent member of the Cambridgeshire community and we are truly delighted that she has agreed to share her thoughts and views with Chamber members.”

Chief Constable Julie Spence said: "I am thrilled to be joining the Chamber of Commerce for their Christmas lunch. It will be an excellent way to improve relations with the business community and improve understanding on a host of matters, including seeing different situations from each others perspectives."

This year’s lunch is taking place on Thursday 4 December, sponsored by BAA Stansted. Representatives from Stansted will also be addressing delegates and outlining the company’s plans for the future.
