Romeike, the media intelligence company has appointed breathe to carry
out an extensive office refurbishment.
In addition to a complete redesign,
breathe will overhaul the air conditioning and project manage the
logistics. Rather than take on temporary space whilst the
refurbishment is taking place, staff will be moved around as the
Romeike currently employs more than
100 staff at its Peterborough office in Broadway. breathe will
re-design the layout in order to make much better use of the available
space, place staff by job function, and bring the working environment
up to date.
The climate control systems will be
paramount to the working conditions of the readers and cutters. As in
London, the office was made mainly open plan and whist the air
conditioning had to maintain a pleasant working environment,
ventilation grills had to be positioned in such a way so as not to
create any drafts.
The colours and designs used in the
London building, recently completed by breathe, will be used again to
keep a corporate feel. A large cafeteria and kitchen area will be
replaced with a break out area similar to that in the head office,
giving employees access to the same facilities but in a much better
‘breathe did a fantastic job in
London, and we had no hesitation in approaching them again for our
Peterborough requirements,’ Les Kelly, managing director of Romeike.
