equipment, Bestdeal4baby’s products have been proving more popular
than ever in these financially challenging times. From moses baskets
to high chairs and for smaller items such as changing mats,

Ruth is thrilled with how far the
business has come over the last few years – “I think it’s great that
we now have a unit to trade from, for the first time we can sell and
donate directly to parents in need. Anyone can come to us and
purchase nearly new baby clothing and equipment at great prices. We
are also now able to except much larger donations.”
As well as finding new premises
there has been further change as to recognize their dedication to
working for the benefit of the community Bestdeal4baby recently went
from being a social enterprise company to a CIC – Community Interest
Company – and has therefore become one of very few CIC’s in
Peterborough.
Business advisor Sergio Ashettino
from NWES (Norfolk and Waveney Enterprise Services) works on the
Peterborough BEAT (Business Enterprise Advice and Training) project
and has helped guide Kevin and Ruth from when they first started
looking into having their own business : “Both Ruth and Kevin have
been working tirelessly in getting the company onto its feet, going
through the up and downs of business life, but with their
determination and perseverance, they are now in a strong position in
seeing this enterprise grow.“
